Chances are that you already know who are the Achaia and who TF is Niko. Well if you don't, Achaia are an ultra advanced civilization based in a far off planet. Until so far they have been discovered in the Netflix series "Another Life" only and Niko is a firebrand woman who's the commander of the mission which was launched from earth once a strange alien ship came to earth and started growing a crazy looking artifact.
Without any further ado, I would head towards the Achaia planet after witnessing the destruction of "Zakir" civilization planet near Canis Majoris. I'd go FTL(Faster Than Light" and blast the bloody planet with full force of the particle bubble which forms around Salvare(the protagonist space ship).
But we also know that the Achaia got their artifacts already present on about 300 planets. Maybe they're already settled on some other planets as well and we destroy their origin planet, they'd come for earth.
But the problem is, they'll come for earth anyway. In that case Niko's decision to head back to earth sounds reasonable, maybe she'll be able to buy some time for the human civilization.
I thought this yesterday and I believe I need to document it somewhere. I got similar thoughts about other series like Altered Carbon, Lost in Space, Dare Devil, Punisher etc.

Mobile Games Can Affect Kids Health Badly
I got two children, a son 3 years old and a daughter one and a half year old. Both love to play mobile games on my smart phone. At first I was relieved that I had found an easy distraction, and they would easily spend half an hour with the phone. I never let them play with the devices for more than a few minutes straight, because I strongly believe the bright light emitted from the screen won't be good for their young eyes. Top games and apps my kid Faatir plays happily are more or less
- Fisher Price Rhymes
- Talking Tom Cat
- Ant Smasher
- Fruit Ninja
- Candy Crush (he likes the music)
- Mortal Skies (Basically any game with a plane flying around)
Some of these can be considered good games for kids though, for example Fisher Price has got nice apps and Fruit Ninja is also cool.
But then there are other games that can adversely impact your kid's attitude and mental health. I experienced the example for myself when my son smashed a real live ant right in front of me, I tried to stop his hand but he had already killed the poor thing.
I then realized that the my kids mental health is being affected by the game "Ant Smasher" specifically. Its a game in which ants walk on to the screen from one side, and the player only needs to touch them to smash and kill. It is a very simple game and my kid loves to play it.
As you can see in the left most image, the feathers are flying right after a pillow hit on cat's face. I tried several times but could not capture the exact moment of pillow impact. The image in centre shows that the cat is scared and climbed on a chandler to save itself. The right most picture just shows a smug looking cat, which will repeat anything you say after her. Talking Tom is definitely not the best kids game out there.
There's a lot of talk about how games like "Grand Theft Auto" are spoiling young people, but unfortunately nobody seems to be bothering about how various mobile games can turn your child into a cruel animal torturing monster from a very early age. It is always a good idea to teach our children how to love, and someone needs to create games for kids with specifically this goad in mind.
The Conclusion
- Mobile games can be good fun, and children mostly enjoy these a lot. But parents need to be careful in choosing what games their child should play and what to avoid in order to have healthy kids.
- Apart from attitude and behaviour problems, excessive use of mobile games can be harmful for your kids eyesight and sleep routine, don't let them play a lot of mobile games.
- Promethazine based drugs are some times suggested by the doctors to help kids sleep, but an overdose can be fatal. If someone keeps feeding their child Phenergan regularly it is very harmful for the kids health in long run. Games are similar to the drug, these can be harmful on multiple levels if not used with caution.

TiE Walks, a great opportunity for new entrepreneurs
Mentors lineup during the introduction |
This Saturday, I got the golden chance to visit TiE walks; a mentoring event held at Royal Palm golf club, organized by The Indus Entrepreneur(TiE) Lahore chapter.
The event was scheduled to start at 3:00 PM but the learners and most of mentors were already there ahead of time, some getting introduced to each other and some already involved in heated discussions.
The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE)
Its a global not for profit organization that focuses on promoting entrepreneurship. TiE has got 60 plus chapters across 18 countries. I've been to events held by Lahore and Islamabad chapters earlier, these chapters are considered very active among the mix.

The evil mouse bite
Drops of blood were falling down on floor as I watched in horror. A rat had bitten me while I was trying to sleep on the floor.
Just five minutes ago
I was half asleep with the room lights off. The evil rodent struck when I stretched my hands backwards. I felt its teeth on my finger and I shouted “Bloody mother f*****!” (Of course in Punjabi) and then jumped and ran to turn the lights on. “A rat has bitten me” I told Adeel and Awais (my brother and his friend/roommate) as they rushed towards me. I went over and washed my hands, but bleeding did not stop. It was then that someone said the offender is still inside the same room and we must take revenge. The great mouse hunt ensued.Hunting the attacker

Donating blood for the first time, fairly easy I must say
Its a terrifying thick needle, and it is put through your vein to draw blood. Pretty easy to get nervous if you focus on the red line attached to a plastic bag on the other end. But, no pain is associated with the process other than couple of needle pricks when the nurses are setting things up.

Facing an overconfident brute
"Yes, but you still have a p***s", this sentence was almost the tipping point.
The water cooler conversation leading to the aforementioned statement was pretty interesting, I must say. Its a story which I thought should not be told at first. Later on, I had a discussion with a friend and she suggested it was a funny situation. I then decided to make it public, without mentioning names.
"How is the love story between you and that girl going?" His question hit me like a brick. "Which love story mate?" I responded. "Oh come on! I saw you exchanging phone numbers." Know I knew where he was coming from. "Yes but I have exchanged phone numbers with so many people in the class, without having a love story. And I am a married person."
The next sentence was a classic. "Yes, but you still have a p***s." It was an awkward moment, I had to finish the water in my cup before saying anything. "You're right, I have the p thing and it works. But, I am the master here not the p." I tried to show some teeth and continued. "It was just a class room exchange of information. I have a good wife, so I don't need to goof around. Moreover, I paid cold hard cash to prepare for IELTS. Flirting with young ladies is certainly not on my list of priorities."

The Story
Class ended at 12:00 PM, I stopped at the water cooler before leaving the institute(BETS). It was there that a young man approached me with an evil smile."How is the love story between you and that girl going?" His question hit me like a brick. "Which love story mate?" I responded. "Oh come on! I saw you exchanging phone numbers." Know I knew where he was coming from. "Yes but I have exchanged phone numbers with so many people in the class, without having a love story.
